Mission
Statement
The
mission of Osprey Watch of Southeast Michigan is to ensure the
restoration of ospreys to Southeast Michigan and to serve as a support
group for the Michigan DNR's osprey reintroduction program.
Objectives
To
achieve our mission OWSEM has two objectives. One is to monitor nesting
activity and collect data on osprey activities within this region. The
second is to educate the public about ospreys and to encourage them to
become active participants in the preservation and development of the
ecosystems necessary for osprey reproduction and survival.
