April 2, 2003 - Dawn of a New Spring

Kensington Nature Center (KNC) "Hacking Tower" on Wildwing Lake.  This is where C09 grew from a 6 week old chick to a young adult in 1999.  He learned to fly from this tower, and caught his first fish here.  Those two events imprinted on him, and brought him back in 2002 to nest and raise his first offspring.
