May 4th - Opsreys from the Dawson Rd. Nest
|
The female of this pair ensconced on
her nest. She got up two times to move egg(s) around, but never left.
|
Up to turn her eggs, and stretch a
bit. She was off the egg(s) for about 30 seconds.
|
Sometimes nest material isn't where
it ought to be. Here the female is rearranging sticks that are close
to her.
|
As reported earlier, neither the male
nor female of this pair is banded. Here the male comes in for a close look
at his mate, and then flies off to preen in a nearby snag.
|
Another view of the males bandless legs.
Bob DeLosh has taken similar photos of the female's legs, which are also devoid
of bands.
