 This
is the first photo received showing that this pair of ospreys is a male
and a female. The male is leaving his antenna perch, while the female
is content to stay where she is.

Pat Klos provided this photo of the pair during mating actitity.
This
photo also clearly shows the pair to be a male and a female. Males have
all white feathering on their breast area; females usually have a few
to many brown feathers on their breast forming a "necklace". The
necklace on this female is quite pronounced.

Another photo clearly showing this pair to be male and female.
Reports
have come in about another osprey seen with this pair. From reported
behavior, the third bird is most likely another male, but that has not
been confirmed.
If it is another male, he may decide to start building his own nest later on this summer, especially if he attracts a female.
